At first, the cars pass through in front of the school. And then, the people were talking around and pass by us when we went through the school-yard. We walked up the stairs and pass through the playground, we heard children playing basketball. We heard the balls hit the ground and the children screaming and shouting. Beside that, there was a sound of repairing near the terrace. At the end, we arrived canteen and we heard the students talking.

The only way to get good classroom ambiance is to record it in a classroom. That's exactly what this is. Recorded in a classroom as the students were studying and the teacher was quietly walking around. You'll hear a few random noises, some papers shuffling, some very muffled dialog, an air conditioner in the background.

Nearly 15 min of children playing and screaming in a school yard in central copenhagen(denmark). Not any obvious language though. Has a natural ending when the kids go back to class. Zoom h1 and mastered with supreme analog gear.

You guys are probably wondering why i haven't been posting many sounds for the last month well number one so i can upload a lot of sounds at once and two i have been pretty busy with track and play practice. So now here is a bunch of sounds that were created by me either covering up or bumping my mic which i hope you will enjoy.

Since i have been lowing low on things to record i have been starting to record while i'm at school and it is working. The good thing is know one will know i am recording because i am using my audacity recorder on my laptop. I hope you enjoy my newest sounds.

School kids recorded in the cafeteria during their lunch hour. It was recorded using an iphone (extemporaneous, hence the low quality), converted from the m4a to ogg, but it could certainly pass as a background sound.

We spent the afternoon at the ruins of the abandoned radarstation on the top of teufelsberg in berlin. It had been raining in the morning so inside the whole building there were different kind of drops to record. This is a binaural-recording. It sounds amazing with headphones. I recorded this gate in ashton court, bristol. I recorded it for a surround sound eco-soundscape composition however i felt the need to share as it was probably one of the best sounds i captured. The long hollow poles the gate is attached to creates a spooky reverb that sounds like its coming from the ground itself. Please feel free to use this wherever you need.

This sound was used in old horror movies. It it really gives you the shivers.
